How to Create a Twitter Profile for Your Business
If your multi-location business is just getting started with Twitter, follow these steps to begin:
Step 1: Visit Twitter’s homepage and click “sign-up”
Step 2: Select your Twitter username and a Twitter handle — the closer you can get to your business’s name, the better
Step 3: Add all relevant business information, including your business’s name, address, local website, and phone number
Step 4: Verify your account through Twitter
Step 5: Complete your Twitter profile
Step 6: Convert your profile to a Twitter Professional Profile here
Step 7: Get started posting
Twitter Professional Profiles, Twitter’s new professional platform released in June 2022, allows businesses to display specific information about their brand or business that they wouldn’t be able to include otherwise. Professional profiles will separate your business’s profile from a general user.

We’ll get into the details of completing your profile here. Still, it’s worth noting that Twitter’s current structure requires multi-location businesses to set up a different Twitter account for each business location. Unlike Facebook, Twitter doesn’t provide the ability to create local store profiles under a parent business account.
