SAN DIEGO—January 29, 2020—SOCi, Inc., the leading social and reputation management platform for multi-location businesses, has appointed Chad Jordan as the Vice President of Business Development, Brands. In this new position, Jordan–who recently oversaw digital marketing for national haircut chain Sport Clips–will work closely with national franchises and multi-location brand customers of SOCi to serve as a resident expert to help customers grow and scale their localized marketing programs.
“As a founding member of our customer advisory council, Chad has been one of our earliest and most vocal advocates, and we are honored that he’s decided to spend the next phase of his career championing localized marketing from within SOCi,” said Khoury. “His intimate knowledge of the franchise space and the struggles multi-location marketers face when it comes to localized marketing will be invaluable as we continue to refine and strengthen SOCi’s product solution and offering.”
While at Sport Clips, Jordan was instrumental in building out the digital marketing department and overseeing the company’s localized marketing initiative–a program that leveraged the SOCi platform to achieve social media adoption across the company’s 1,800+ stores, which lead to winning a 2018 Digiday Award for the company’s social media approach. He was recently named the Internet Marketing Association’s Internet Marketer of the Year for his efforts and initiatives, and developed the successful weekly Sport Clips Hall of Fame Podcast, which aimed to strengthen internal connections and morale while fueling the passion to grow Sport Clips’ business exponentially.
“As a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE), I’ve always been incredibly passionate about empowering franchisees to take control of their online presence, and am thrilled to join Afif and the team at a fast-growing company like SOCi,” said Jordan. “For franchise and multi-location brands, localized marketing is critical, and I’m excited to see how I can help SOCi continue to bring the revolutionizing power of localization to brands worldwide.”
Earlier this year, SOCi announced the closing of a $15 million Series C, funded by Vertical Venture Partners, Grayhawk Capital, Ankona Capital, and Blossom Street Ventures. SOCi closed its Series B in 2018 and has raised roughly $35 million since its founding in 2012 to help national companies compete and connect on a local level.
