Afif Khoury, Founder and CEO of SOCi, Inc., has forged a distinguished career spanning over 25 years at the forefront of technology. A highly decorated entrepreneur and tech influencer, Khoury’s journey, steeped in data-driven innovation, began as a geneticist whose research and findings led to early contributions to the Human Genome Project. Merging a love for the sciences with a fascination with software, he then built his first company, Symptomcare.com, which set out to democratize healthcare for all, and doing so while attending law school and business school at Northwestern School of Law and Kellogg School of Management.

 

After exiting the business, Khoury transitioned to a career as a high-tech Silicon Valley M&A attorney and later managed two successful Venture Capital funds where he invested in cutting edge technologies spanning numerous industries including water reclamation, vertical farming, pharmaceuticals, genetic sequencing, digital marketing and digitized healthcare. Taking a strong interest in the complexities of the marketing technology landscape, he went on to navigate two companies through three marketing revolutions: social, mobile, and now AI. As the CEO of SOCi, Khoury is passionate about changing the relationship people have with software, from a tool that we use, to a partner that we can train to do work for us and free us up to do what we love.

 

Under Khoury’s leadership, SOCi has become the #5 marketing platform globally according to G2, and the leading marketing platform for multi-location enterprises.  SOCi has been one of the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America for the last six years, and its marketing technology serves as the backbone to nearly 1,000 global brands (including Ford, Ace Hardware, Kumon, and Jersey Mike’s) who are managing more than 3 million locations on the platform.  SOCi is now building the world’s first CoMarketing Cloud—an autonomous marketing and data analytics platform that leverages A.I. and SOCi’s proprietary technology to “do the marketing for you”.

 

Beyond his professional achievements, Khoury is a passionate data enthusiast, seasoned investor, trusted advisor, husband, father (four boys), and perpetual student. These multifaceted roles have defined his journey, fueling a pragmatic approach to innovation, a penchant for pushing boundaries, and an enduring humility for ingenuity.

Monica Ho, CMO of SOCi, Inc., has had nearly 20 years of digital marketing, advertising and research experience, including a solid foundation in sales, strategy and data analytics. Prior to SOCi, Monica served as Global CMO at GroundTruth (formerly xAd, Inc), where she helped grow the business from an early stage start-up to an award-winning global brand. In addition to her role at SOCi, Monica serves on the board of the Advanced Digital Marketing and Media Community of Austin (AUSAM), as well as serves on the advisory boards of several digital marketing and technology start-ups within NY, TX and CA.

Ben Brownlee brings 25 years of experience in working in post-sale functions, with heavy focus on revenue-generating support and services, account expansion, and customer retention disciplines. He previously served as the Chief Customer Officer at Gong, overseeing the customer journey from point of sale, including monetization of services and renewal and expansion accountabilities. Prior to Gong, Ben worked nearly two decades at Blackbaud, as they scaled from a private $100m company to a $1b+ ARR publicly-traded global organization. In his time there he held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Global Customer Success for a 500+ employee division.

An inspirational leader, Eric has over 15 years of finance and operational experience across private and public sectors, with deep industry expertise in high-growth SaaS technology start-ups. In 2020, Eric was recognized as the CFO of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal. During his 3 previous roles as CFO, he managed global finance and operations, IT infrastructure, M&A, tax, and accounting, while also securing his last company a successful acquisition by Mimecast (MIME). Eric has defined a new generation of CFOs by cultivating cross-departmental collaboration to break down the walls between finance and technology. His high energy, fierce intellect and his capacity to dream big, drives him to maximize the strength of his team and makes him an invaluable asset to SOCi.

Pam Perry is a human resources executive with over 40 years of experience leading strategic and innovative results for high-growth public and private global companies across a range of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, biomedical, internet services, and entertainment.

Prior to joining SOCi, Pam held senior human resources leadership positions at several prominent companies including UpJohn, Caremark ltd, and CB Richard Ellis. In the last 20 years, Pam has focused on the software industry including a high profile role as a JMI Equity Operating Advisor to many of their portfolios including the Chief People Officer of Appriss, automotiveMastermind and now SOCi.

Pam has demonstrated a proven track record of success in scaling companies in areas such as mergers and acquisitions integration, talent acquisition, compensation and sales incentive design, employee engagement and performance management, leadership development and succession planning, and total rewards design.

As the Chief People Officer (CPO) at SOCi, Inc., Pam works throughout the organization to develop and implement effective human resources strategies that support the company’s growth and success. Her expertise in cultural transformation, change management, and organizational development has been critical to SOCi’s continued success.

With over 20 years of experience in leadership at Adobe and Oracle, Betlem brings a wealth of expertise in product development, enterprise solutions, and data intelligence to SOCi as its Senior Vice President of Engineering. At Adobe, he spearheaded engineering efforts, driving product development and leading teams for cloud-based solutions including the Digital Publishing Suite and Adobe Experience Platform. Transitioning to Oracle, Betlem led the Customer Data Platform team, addressing the pressing need for enterprises to harness the true power of their data with artificial intelligence to deliver highly personalized and contextual customer experiences. In his role at SOCi, Betlem will increase our investment and proficiency in AI, leveraging the data to drive strategic decision-making and enhance customer engagement. His vision for leveraging artificial intelligence to automate processes and enhance customer experiences aligns seamlessly with SOCi’s commitment to redefining the future of marketing technology through intelligent solutions.

Richard Lumsden, leads Business Development for SOCi. With 10+ years of experience within both early stage and Fortune 100 companies, Richard is responsible for deepening existing partnerships and empowering new partners to succeed through the power of the SOCi Platform. Prior to joining SOCi, Richard was part of two highly successful start-ups as an Executive at SinglePlatform (acquired by Endurance International) and as VP of Sales at Truaxis (acquired by MasterCard). He also founded Lumsden Advisors which has provided guidance to numerous businesses within the SMB & Location Based Marketing space, and continues to advise a number of start-ups in the NY & TX areas.

Adam Rochkind, is a seasoned leader in customer success with a deep background across MarTech, AdTech, FinTech and Collaboration suites. With more than 10 years of leadership experience, Adam specializes in building and leading high-performing teams focused on customer success and services delivery. Prior to SOCi, Adam served as the SVP of Customer Success at Mural, where he oversaw key customer-focused departments including CS, Professional Services, Implementation, Training, and Support. Before Mural, he was the Vice President of Customer Success at Datorama, a Salesforce Company, managing the Americas region. He also spent time at Google advising premium publishers on advertising monetization strategy. Adam’s leadership style is characterized by a commitment to operational excellence, building great teams, and driving customer business outcomes.

Sami Anttila, Vice President of Engineering at SOCi, is a technology leader with over a decade of experience in both leading teams as well as designing and implementing complex distributed software systems at scale. Sami’s upbeat attitude, selfless dedication to his empowered teams and his burning passion for innovation and technology have been catalysts for creativity and excellence allowing the SOCi Platform to grow, scale, and solve customer problems as the market leading solution for multi-location brands.

Allyson comes to SOCi with 25 years of experience in the digital marketing space. She helped propel her former company, Brandify, from a startup to a leader in the Local Digital Marketplace. During her tenure, she played integral roles in leading various teams within account strategy, product management, and customer service. Allyson provides an extremely well versed background in helping enterprise brands deliver scalable, multi-location, localized digital marketing platforms. Her fundamental knowledge around all aspects of driving business from online to offline fuels customers’ ongoing local marketing and sales strategies. Leveraging her years of working with Fortune 500 organizations, she understands critical complex needs of multi-location organizations. She continues to drive ongoing education to customers across multiple verticals such as Retail, Manufacturing, Finance, Hospitality, Restaurant and Automotive industries.

Nicole DiNicola is a product and solutions marketing leader who thrives in the fast-paced B2B tech industry–with over 15 years experience across companies like Qualtrics, Smartsheet, and Citrix. Currently, Nicole serves as the Vice President of Product Marketing at SOCi where she and her team are focused on bringing to market the world’s first CoMarketing Cloud–an AI powered local marketing platform with a suite of products designed to automate the most critical workflows for location-based businesses. Nicole is a passionate advocate for new moms in the workplace and women in tech. Outside of work, Nicole is a runner, reader, and avid make-believer with her 2 young children. Nicole and her family live in Raleigh, North Carolina, and she is a proud Gator graduate from the University of Florida.

Chris is SOCi’s Vice President of Information Security and Compliance. He brings over 25 years of experience in information security leadership, consulting, and IT, working in senior roles with companies ranging from startups to the Fortune 50. He holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, with a focus in technology risk management, as well as numerous advanced professional certifications, and has also taught cybersecurity and IT at the college level for nine years as an adjunct professor.

Adam Lazzara, Vice President of Solution Engineering, joins SOCi with 15+ years of sales and solutions experience supporting digital marketing and SaaS companies in the social media space. Adam has spent nearly 12 of those years as a leader or member of the solutions engineering team, guiding enterprise brands towards the leading marketing technology solutions returning value. Prior to SOCi, Adam served as a Director of Solution Consulting for Sprout Social where he built a global solutions consulting organization that helped Sprout Social go public in 2019. Adam’s passion is identifying clients’ needs and recommending the right marketing technology solutions for their organization as well as developing and mentoring diverse, high-performing pre-sales teams.

Bryan joins SOCi with more than 15 years experience in the sales and enablement space, having led both small and large SaaS enablement teams. Most recently, Bryan crafted the sales enablement organization from the ground up at Braze with a focus on new rep onboarding and existing rep productivity within their high growth sales team. Bryan uses a data centric enablement approach proven to guide sellers with the right content, development, and coaching needed to scale a successful sales organization. As the VP of Sales Enablement, Bryan will work closely with the broader SOCi team to drive the development, efficiency, and productivity of our rapidly growing sales organization.

Margaret joined SOCi with over 20 years of experience in the locations-based digital marketing space.

In the role of Vice President of Implementation, she leverages a wealth of expertise across multiple verticals such as Retail, Finance, Hospitality and Restaurant, in process optimization, project management, and customer engagement to drive efficiency and excellence in seamless execution. With a customer-centric approach, results-driven mindset and a passion for continuous improvement, Margaret is dedicated to delivering value and ensuring customer’s satisfaction.

Prior to SOCi, Margaret served as the VP of Customer Advocacy at Brandify, where she managed key customer-focused departments including Technical Account Management, Professional Services, Implementation and Support.

Scott Romney, VP of Commercial Sales, is a dynamic sales and digital marketing professional with over 10+ years of experience in B2C SaaS. His deep expertise in the digital landscape began with founding an agency servicing 100’s of businesses for local SEO, digital marketing, and developing strategies. This hands-on experience gave him invaluable insights into the transformative potential of the right SaaS technology. He brings knowledge in scaling sales operations and nurturing the next generation of leaders, leveraging his visionary approach and strategic results-driven mindset.

Sara Ajemian boasts 17 years of extensive experience shaping impactful B2B brand and communication strategies, with a focus on late-stage startups and enterprise-level B2B companies. Before joining SOCi, Sara played a pivotal role in corporate marketing for RollWorks, NextRoll’s B2B account-based marketing solution. As an agency leader, she successfully led award-winning technology PR firms SourceCode Communications and DiGennaro Communications, specializing in martech and adtech practices. Sara also contributed to communication strategies for WPP’s out-of-home advertising agency Kinetic Worldwide and IPG’s digital agency R/GA. Her career journey includes non-profit communications at the American Foundation for the Blind and Little, a transdisciplinary design and architecture firm.

Rob Reed joins SOCi as a Senior Advisor for Enterprise Brands. Rob is a successful entrepreneur and journalist. In 2010, he founded MomentFeed, one of the first technology platforms designed for multi-location marketing. As CEO he built the founding team, designed the product, raised multiple rounds of VC funding, partnered with Facebook, Google, and other platforms, and closed deals with 7-Eleven, The Home Depot, Burger King, Starbucks, and other national brands. Rob transitioned out of his day-to-day role in 2016 and left the Board in 2017, which coincided with the Series C round. Next, he served as Chief Revenue Officer for Shareability, an LA-based social content studio that specializes in video marketing. While there, he worked with AT&T, Cricket Wireless, IBM, and Adobe on some of the most successful viral video campaigns in the history of the internet. Rob started his career as a lifestyle journalist by covering adventure sports, luxury travel, and high-performance automotive. In 2005, he wrote The Way of the Snowboarder, a book about the history and people of the sport. He’s been a regular contributor for The Huffington Post and currently writes a column for Forbes Magazine.
