From his early contribution to the Human Genome Project, a career as a high tech M&A attorney, a manager of two successful Venture Capital funds and Founder & CEO of two successful startups, Afif has made a career out of following the data.
Alo Sarv, Co-Founder and CTO of SOCi, Inc., is an award-winning technology leader with nearly two decades of experience spanning from distributed systems engineering to scaling distributed product development teams.
Monica Ho, CMO of SOCi, Inc., has had nearly 20 years of digital marketing, advertising and research experience, including a solid foundation in sales, strategy and data analytics. Prior to SOCi, Monica served as Global CMO at GroundTruth (formerly xAd, Inc), where she helped grow the business from an early stage start-up to an award-winning global brand. In addition to her role at SOCi, Monica serves on the board of the Advanced Digital Marketing and Media Community of Austin (AUSAM), as well as serves on the advisory boards of several digital marketing and technology start-ups within NY, TX and CA.
An inspirational leader, Eric has over 13 years of finance and accounting experience across private and public sectors, with deep industry expertise in high-growth SaaS technology start-ups. During his 3 previous roles as CFO, he managed global finance and operations, IT infrastructure, M&A, tax, and accounting, while also securing his last company a successful acquisition. Eric has defined a new generation of CFOs by cultivating cross-departmental collaboration to break down the walls between finance and technology. His high energy, fierce intellect and his capacity to dream big, drives him to maximize the strength of his team and makes him an invaluable asset to SOCi.
David Marler, Vice President of Client Success at SOCi, Inc., has nearly 30+ years dedicated to marketing and customer service. David is the former VP at Ring Central.
Jacob Chappell is a modern digital marketing professional with a deep understanding of Social Media and the Marketing industry on the whole. Recognized by experts and armed with acclaimed accomplishments, Jacob’s desire to strategize and attain business goals across the board is matched only by his exclusive mix of executive insights and marketing solutions with a strong focus on ROI. As Senior Vice President of Sales with 10+ years’ experience with emerging software technologies, Jacob has been on the front lines of strategies pertaining to brand management, corporate sponsorships, and business development at SOCi, Inc.
Richard Lumsden, leads Business Development for SOCi. With 10+ years of experience within both early stage and Fortune 100 companies, Richard is responsible for deepening existing partnerships and empowering new partners to succeed through the power of the SOCi Platform. Prior to joining SOCi, Richard was part of two highly successful start-ups as an Executive at SinglePlatform (acquired by Endurance International) and as VP of Sales at Truaxis (acquired by MasterCard). He also founded Lumsden Advisors which has provided guidance to numerous businesses within the SMB & Location Based Marketing space, and continues to advise a number of start-ups in the NY & TX areas.
Tara Thomas joins SOCi as the Regional Vice President of Sales. She has nearly 20 years of experience in digital marketing, and has a proven track record of helping enterprise brand leaders transform their digital and social strategies by leveraging ROI modeling and performance tactics. Prior to SOCi, Tara held various executive roles leading sales teams in agencies, tech start-ups, and for public companies. Tara’s passion for a customer-first approach and intuition in the ever-evolving landscape lend to her ability to create optimal strategies and success in running sales efforts.
Dax French, Vice President of Sales Enablement at SOCi, has 20+ years of software industry experience. As an executive, Dax has had career responsibilities of global sales functions, such as strategy & transformation, enablement, and revenue operations. Dax has successfully built, from scratch, the enablement strategy, teams, and programs to support multiple rapid growth companies. Dax brings to SOCi a proven track record of delivering complex cross-functional projects; while spearheading the creation of programs to meet the scaling operational demands of a business. Dax enjoys pushing the boundaries of traditional thinking to find breakthroughs for growing revenue and customer retention.
Rob Reed joins SOCi as a Senior Advisor for Enterprise Brands. Rob is a successful entrepreneur and journalist. In 2010, he founded MomentFeed, one of the first technology platforms designed for multi-location marketing. As CEO he built the founding team, designed the product, raised multiple rounds of VC funding, partnered with Facebook, Google, and other platforms, and closed deals with 7-Eleven, The Home Depot, Burger King, Starbucks, and other national brands. Rob transitioned out of his day-to-day role in 2016 and left the Board in 2017, which coincided with the Series C round. Next, he served as Chief Revenue Officer for Shareability, an LA-based social content studio that specializes in video marketing. While there, he worked with AT&T, Cricket Wireless, IBM, and Adobe on some of the most successful viral video campaigns in the history of the internet. Rob started his career as a lifestyle journalist by covering adventure sports, luxury travel, and high-performance automotive. In 2005, he wrote The Way of the Snowboarder, a book about the history and people of the sport. He’s been a regular contributor for The Huffington Post and currently writes a column for Forbes Magazine.
