Classical Conversations Optimizes Inquiry Response with SOCi Smartbot

    Classical Conversations is a proven international Christian homeschool program created by parents for parents. Through a Christ-centered and family-friendly approach, the program assists families in developing a biblical and hospitable homeschooling experience for their children.

     

    Proudly serving over 45,000 families spread over 50 countries globally, Classical Conversations relies upon its marketing team to spread the word about the program’s achievements, as well as the Gospel of Jesus.

     

    “For us to effectively advertise the program and get ‘students in seats’ so to speak, we need to capture the most important parts of our current students’ homeschooling journey through our marketing channels,” said Crystal Storey, Social Media Specialist and Challenge I Director at Classical Conversations.

     

    Classical Conversations educates over 125,000 students in the United States annually and more than 10,000 students internationally – figures the team hopes to increase year-over-year. Typically, students who enroll in the program’s curriculum have experienced difficulties in finding a home in a more traditional school environment. Many of the families of these students learn about the curriculum through Classical Conversations’ social media channels.

     

    With the program experiencing rapid growth in demand over the past few years, Classical Conversations needed a way to balance its resources across three main tasks: facilitating incoming visitor requests from their local Facebook pages, managing review response levels, and participating in social media groups to stay engaged with enrolled students and their families.

    “We launched with a low number of local Facebook pages, so it was easy to respond to incoming requests at first,” said Storey.

     

    “When we began to scale, we turned to SOCi’s chatbot services to manage the increased volume of engagements. What was previously a task that I and other team members we forced to do manually has now become the main responsibility of Arisbotle. It has been great in helping page visitors find or start local communities, as well as alert them to upcoming events.”

    To mitigate the high volume of inquiries on their Facebook page, the leadership team enabled SOCi Smarbot with a Classical Conversations twist.

    “We’re now able to focus on developing social media content and distributing through our community pages. This has made a tremendous impact on our ability to engage with prospective students and their families. Seeing new members join our communities is a sign that our efforts to make an impact through outreach are working,” said Storey.

    By implementing a consistent posting schedule across Facebook and evaluating posts with high SOCi Scores, Classical Conversations has generated some impressive results in terms of reach. This has proven to be especially true during the summer months when the organization saw some of its highest levels of social engagement to date.

     

    Local users have progressively adopted the platform thanks to a custom-made training portal complete with certifications and course videos covering topics such as social media strategy and Google Listings.
